Feeding Directions:

Mature Horses at Maintenance: As a complete feed, feed 1 to 1 1/2 lbs. per 100 lbs. of body weight per day in at least 2 divided feedings, plus 2 to 5 lbs, of hay or other forage.

All other Classes of Horses: This feed can be used as a forage substitute and may replace up to 75% of the grass or grass/alfalfa forage program on a weight basis. Continue to feed the appropriate concentrate feed for the classification of horse being fed. Always feed at least 2 to 3 lbs. of long-stem roughage to maintain proper gut function. Make all ration changes gradually over a 2 to 3 week period. Feed by weight and make substitutions on a weight basis. Provide a source of fresh, clean water at all times. Provide a free-choice mineral to broodmares and growing horses in pastures. Do Not Feed wet, moldy or insect infested feed.
